Was fortunate to wind up with a private tour by Ana, no other guests signed up that day, and concluding with a nice glass of cava. Ana brought out the living, continuous history of Barcelona, from the Roman settlement, through the Middle Ages, and into today. Ana is warm, cheerful, engaging, and passionate about Barcelona, and what better «classroom» than the living city itself.
